Terms of Use

Effective October 23, 2026

The short version

  • These terms cover our websites and CabinetWeave, and set the ground rules for our games. A game can add a license agreement of its own.
  • Your shop's data is yours. We hold a limited license to run the service for you.
  • CabinetWeave helps you prepare quotes and cut lists. You check them before you quote, order or cut.
  • Games are bought through stores such as Steam and itch.io. The store's rules decide payment, refunds and age limits.
  • If we disagree, email us first. Website visitors and players go to court in Utah. CabinetWeave business customers use individual arbitration unless they opt out.

Who we are and what this covers

These terms are between you and MeridianFox, LLC, a Utah company. They apply when you use meridianfox.com, cabinetweave.com and meridianfoxstudios.com ("our sites"), and they cover the CabinetWeave software and our games. The CabinetWeave section below adds terms for the license, subscriptions and the beta. A game can have its own license agreement, and if it conflicts with this page for that game, the game's agreement wins. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Using our sites

Use them lawfully and fairly. Do not attack, overload or probe our systems, scrape them at a scale that harms them, impersonate someone, or try to reach accounts or data that are not yours. We may update, pause or retire any part of a site, and we may block access to protect the service or other people.

Accounts

If a product has accounts, give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we will tell you why when we can.

Founding Shop beta applications

Applying does not guarantee a place, and it does not commit you to buy anything. We may accept or decline any application. Beta access comes with the beta terms in the CabinetWeave section below.

Email updates

You can sign up on our sites for updates about CabinetWeave, our games or both. We email you only about the topics you pick, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.

Your content and data in CabinetWeave

You own the designs, quotes, price lists, customer details and other content you put into CabinetWeave. You give us permission to store, back up, sync, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to use that content, including any customer information you enter. You can export your data at any time, and after cancellation you keep read-only access for 90 days and can still export it. Files stored only on your own computer stay with you.

Our content and trademarks

The sites, software, games, art, text and logos belong to MeridianFox, LLC or its licensors. MeridianFox, CabinetWeave and MeridianFox Studios are our names and logos. You may link to our sites, and the press kit lets news and reviewers show our logos when covering us. Beyond that, do not copy or reuse our work or names without asking.

CabinetWeave results

CabinetWeave helps you design cabinets and prepare quotes, shop drawings and cut lists. The numbers and drawings it produces depend on what you enter and on your own materials, prices and methods. Check measurements, materials, pricing and output before you quote a job, order material or cut. You are responsible for those decisions.

CabinetWeave license, subscription and beta

If you use CabinetWeave for your shop or business, these terms also apply.

  • Who accepts. The person who signs up confirms they can accept these terms for their shop.
  • License. We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CabinetWeave for your own shop's work while your subscription is active. Do not resell it, share your login outside your shop, or copy, reverse engineer or try to extract the source code, except where the law lets you.
  • Subscription and billing. The plan, price and billing period are shown to you before you pay. A subscription renews at the end of each period at the price shown, unless you cancel first. We will tell you before a price change takes effect. Our payment processor handles payments.
  • Refunds. The refund policy for your plan is shown at checkout, before you pay.
  • Cancel. You can cancel at any time. You keep access through the end of the period you paid for, then read-only access to your hosted data for 90 days, during which you can export it, as described above.
  • Founding Shop beta. Beta features may change, break or be removed, and we may ask for your feedback. The length and pricing of the beta are stated in your invitation.

Games and purchases

We publish our games through stores, including Steam and itch.io, and we may add others. The store you buy from is who takes your payment, so its terms and policies decide pricing, taxes, refunds, age limits and how you get the game. For Steam, that is the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Valve's refund policy. Your right to play is a license set by the store's terms and any license agreement shown on the game's page, not a sale of the game itself. On those stores we do not process game payments ourselves. If we ever sell a game directly from our own sites, a payment provider acting as seller of record handles it, and its checkout terms and refund policy will be shown before you pay.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything. We will not use your name unless you say we can.

Other people's sites and services

Our sites may link to other sites, and our products work with services such as Steam. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do.

No warranty

We work hard to make our sites, software and games dependable, but we provide them as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise they will be error-free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit on our liability

To the extent the law allows, MeridianFox, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost jobs, lost data or the cost of material, arising from your use of our sites, software or games. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using our sites and products at any time, and you can cancel a CabinetWeave subscription at any time, as the CabinetWeave section describes. We may end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, the limits on liability and how disputes are handled, will continue.

Disagreements and governing law

Email us first at hello@meridianfox.com and give us a chance to put things right. If we cannot settle it, these terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and the state or federal courts located in Utah will hear it, except for CabinetWeave business customers (next paragraph). If you live in the EU or UK, you keep any right to bring a claim in your local courts.

CabinetWeave business customers. If you use CabinetWeave for your business and we cannot settle a dispute within 60 days of your email, we both agree to resolve it through individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules, instead of court, and neither of us can bring or join a class or group action. Either of us may go to small claims court instead, and either may ask a court to stop misuse of intellectual property. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing hello@meridianfox.com with "Arbitration opt-out" in the subject.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for material changes we will email account holders and subscribers or post a notice on our sites. If you keep using our sites or products after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
